Some of the glitches discussed pertain to things like 100 creatu on a profile when the limit is 15 or 25. Just as the Show Rooms were fixed so that you couldn't "over-stuff" them, will this be fixed in V3? I've given up hopping back and forth between classes (RIGHT) and accepted my destiny as a Merchant. I've managed to cull down my Profile babies to 17, and it was hard...Cupcakes and Echo are pouting at me from my Show Room as I type. XD Picking two or three more to go is no fun, BUT I know I should really do it. Or do I need to? TL;DR: Should users start "trimming" Profile pets in preparation for V3?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure this is a glitch, exactly. I'll have to ask Pat for more clarification.
ReplyDeleteIf you have 100 pets on your profile, you definitely aren't going to be able to hatch, so that is a disadvantage. They'll also be sucking more food out of your food pen, or you'll have to be feeding more by hand. In order to hatch, you'd have to limit it to 14 as merchant, or 24 as rancher, to be able to make one hatch.
I'll post back here after I hear something more about this, and if there are plans to change it in V3. =)
Are there going to be future changes made to the credit shop exchange for Tu system? Or will the current way be most likely to stay?
ReplyDeleteThere are no changes planned to the credit shop exchange for TU at this time, no. Many sites do not allow site currency to be used in the cash shop, so it is really great that Pat has found a way to let us keep the TU <--> Credit exchange feature! =)
ReplyDeleteCould one of you please address the topic of the "legality" of banning? I think a lot of users have misconceptions about their "rights" (and responsibilities) when they sign up to use a website and/or make a donation to it. :]

ReplyDeleteAfter speaking with Pat about the unlimited number of pets on profiles, this does not appear to be a glitch.
ReplyDeleteIf it were STRICTLY limited to 15/25, without first stocking pets to your showroom or rancher shop, you wouldn't be able to purchase a pet from a rancher shop, receive a pet from an auction, or in V3... well, let's just say there's another feature that would be affected by this. =)
So, extra room to add pets to profiles IS necessary, although the number may be limited in V3 rather than infinite. This has yet to be decided, though.
