When it comes to multiple accounts, there seems to be only one norm that everyone thinks of. The user creates more than one account, uses each of them and sends all of the profit to one account.

You'll often find notes on profiles that say, "Hi staff, me and my sibling _______ play on the same computer, please don't ban us!"

They then continue to play normally - and that's fine! It's when these things start happening that suspicion arises:

The sibling gets bored with Rescreatu and stop using their account.

--> The sibling 'gives' their account to their sister/brother.
--> The sibling only uses their account to make TU and give it to their sibling.
--> The sibling uses their hatches only for their brother/sister and trades all the good hatches to them.

Unfortunately, all of the above points are classed as multiple accounting. It doesn't matter if the accounts do not belong to you, if your sibling is giving you all of their stuff or simply using their account to help you, it is against the rules, whether or not you are bribing or paying them in real life or not. :c

If you are gaining a personal advantage from the account, you are cheating. Yes, we can tell. No, you won't get banned for exchanging gifts every so often, but we can ususally tell because all of the profit ends up, somehow, on one account.

So please, don't make this mistake. :) As always, any questions in the comments will be personally addressed.

  1. So let me get this straight:
If my little sister were to join and she only joined to play the games, sell pets or items, and then gives me her profits, that's multiple accounting?

What if my friend does that? Like, on a few websites, Sammy plays the game so she can help me reach my goals, so she plays the games on the sites, collects the money, and sends it to me. If she happens across some cool items she gives them to me too.

Would Rescreatu consider this multiple accounting? I just want to make very sure.

  2. Although this is not considered multiple accounting because you did not CREATE those accounts, it IS considered cheating. You still have an advantage over other users - we can tell the difference between friends giving gifts and people using their friend's accounts to benefit themselves only.

If I made you sit there and watch me ask my boyfriend and brother to join, and showed you that I had 9 hatches a day, 96 hours searching for seasonal eggs per hunt, 30 forest searches, 3 enchanted springs goes, 9 goes per flash game, and you were a rule abiding user with only one account... would you think it is fair? Just because I am not doing those things, if all of the profit is being sent to me, I am still cheating - just indirectly.

So yes, it is very much against the rules and we do ban people for it. We CAN tell when they are just gifts, and when the account is only being used for your personal benefit, so no need to worry about the odd rare egg or sum of TU.

  3. I have a question.
If you have been doing this (to a certain extent), but didn't know that it was against the rules, is there anyway to, you know, redeem yourself or something? Prevent yourself from getting banned?
My sister and I have done this before, though we both were not aware that this was against the rules. We haven't done so often, and sometimes it was just nice gifts, but I have before had her send me, say, Ulius eggs, with little-to-no tu in return. Now that I am aware that this is cheating, I promise this will not happen again, but I am still afraid that I will be punished for this. Again, is there any way I can prevent myself from being banned?

  4. Occasional gifting with no compensation in return is fine. What is being mentioned here is blatant abuse of a second account, solely for the purpose of fueling the "main" account.

  5. Something like that happened to me.
I did recommend the site to a friend.
I gave that friend tu and pets, because I thought this way the game might become more attractive to him and I wanted to be nice.
However that friend of mine is not someone who makes friends easily and played the game only now and then.
He wanted to pay me back and therefore sent me items and tu from time to time.
After a while he lost interest and decided to send me everything back.
I didn't want the pets. Thus he sent the pets to someone else.
Without asking, but because he thought of it as fair, he sent me the tu.
The result was that in in the loggs it looked like him and me were the same person, while we aren't.
Unfortunately IPs aren't considered as proofs anymore and except for a real life meeting or a group convo in skype there might be no way to proof that we're different persons, living in different countries and that the whole incident wasn't cheating.
I even told him there's no need to pay me back. He still did and while being on Res he had not made any other friends.
Thus I was more or less the only person he used to send stuff.
The whole issue is sad, because all of that happened because we were generous and kind to each other.
However I don't really care if I get my account back, because I consider the issue as sign to quit res for good, but I'm bothered that there're people out there who believe that I cheated and that's something I feel concerned about, since I don't like it when people think wrong about me and I always have a huge urge to bring the truth to public.
There haven't been multiple accounts and my friend didn't create the account to help me, but to play himself, but lost interest after a while (also I have never logged into his account and he never logged into mine) and if there was a way to proof that I would give the proof immediately.
Unfortunately in the end it will always be words against words.
